Thanks for taking this ride with us, friends. It was real. #shamlife #everymanhybrid #mlandersen0

This is bollocks. But you cannot rid yourself of the shamlife, no matter what. It shall live on, even divided, once again, separated by a continent. For we all may become no more than points on a grid, a handful of constellations on the tessellate of a great blue world, we shall still have our wonderful time in a dismal place.
And the two dozen or so dirty vagrants who were kind enough to visit and leave their memories with us over the years.

If you guys haven’t noticed, there’s a Special Edition of the EMH Fan-Compilations by Nathan Haskew.

*The livestreams are gone, streamlining it.

*The videos are higher quality.

* The segments are divided to the length of an HBO episode.

Enjoy! :)

Incredible viewer effort, well done! This should definitely help people late to the game.

The Halo franchise will forever be one of, if not, my favorite game franchises and media series in general. I just watched the trailer for the new feature between Halo 4 and 5, the Ridley Scott production, and while it makes me excited, and I’m sure I’ll love it, I think I realized where a lot of…

In my experience, the overall tone of Halo has been… not inconsistent, but variant. In the same Halo 3 level, you have a Marine yelling “tank beats everything!” and then five minutes later you’re reading 100,000 year-old dialogues between estranged lovers deciding the fate of the galaxy.
I’ve absorbed almost all Halo media (I have yet to get my hands on some of the novels) and I plan on doing so in the future. I feel like the tone of the series has lost a bit of its scope since it left Bungie, but Frankie’s still there. I’m pretty confident that 5 and Nightfall will be sterling though.

but frankie was literally just the mailbag guy

how can we trust him to run the series when halo 4 was already a shitpile

While your opinion on 4 is obviously up to you (I really enjoyed it) I believe Frankie was always up there, at least in terms of a creative producer and community pulse taker, no? I fondly recall the Bungie What’s Up updates every Friday during Halo 2s hey day.
